Terms for using CineMatch.

These Terms explain the basic rules for using CineMatch, including account use, subscriptions, recommendations, and service limitations.

Last updated: April 30, 2026

By using CineMatch, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The Service

CineMatch helps users discover movies and TV shows through AI-powered search, catalog-backed browse feeds, title search, detail pages, and saved lists. CineMatch does not stream video content, sell movie or TV rights, or guarantee that a title is available on a specific streaming service.

Accounts

You need an account to use CineMatch. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to use the app only for lawful purposes.

Recommendations and Catalog Information

Recommendations, ratings, provider information, images, descriptions, and other catalog details may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or change over time. CineMatch provides discovery suggestions for convenience and entertainment; it does not guarantee that you will like a recommendation or that third-party catalog data is always current.

Subscriptions

CineMatch may offer a paid Pro subscription with benefits such as no ads and more AI-powered searches. Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play depending on your device. RevenueCat helps CineMatch verify entitlement status across supported platforms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled according to the store policies that apply to your purchase.

  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
  • Billing, refunds, and renewal handling are managed by Apple or Google Play where required.
  • Subscription benefits may require an active account and successful entitlement verification.
  • We may adjust Pro features or limits over time, but changes will not remove access to already purchased subscription periods where prohibited by law or platform rules.

For iOS users, Apple's standard End User License Agreement may also apply: Apple Standard EULA.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with CineMatch or its backend services.
  • Use automation to abuse AI searches, rate limits, subscriptions, or catalog endpoints.
  • Attempt to access another user's account, lists, preferences, or private data.
  • Use CineMatch in a way that violates laws, third-party rights, or platform policies.

Third-Party Services and Content

CineMatch relies on third-party services for authentication, payments, analytics, crash reporting, ads, AI processing, and movie or TV metadata. Third-party content and services are controlled by their respective providers and may be subject to separate terms and policies.

Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of CineMatch at any time. We work to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent access to any particular feature or catalog item.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

CineMatch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
